
About Park Coppice
Park Coppice covers approximately 9 hectares (23 acres) and comprises mixed broadleaved and conifer woodland. Species include poplar, hazel, ash, beech, Scots pine, Norway spruce, oak, hawthorn, silver birch and wild cherry, with a rich understory of native shrubs and ground flora. The wood is intersected by rides and bordered by agricultural land. It is classified as ancient, replanted woodland.
